To help your team further develop their business acumen, challenge them to read a letter to shareholders. This can be done as a team or as individuals. You may want to read your own letter if you are part of a public company and your CEO issues one (not all CEOs do) or you can read Amazon's letter to shareholders from 1997.
Encourage your team to report back what they learned and how their projects and role could support the CEO's initiatives.
